Barbara Brinkman is a marketing executive with extensive and broad based experience with a Fortune 500 Company. Her last role was VP of Marketing for Macy’s. Here experience is in financial planning and budgeting, database and relationship, loyalty programs, printing and paper purchasing. In addition, she has worked in broadcast media placement both national and spot, and television and radio production. She has a thorough knowledge of developing and executing a brand strategy, both internally and externally.
Matthew Porter is co-founder and CEO of Contegix, the [award-winning|Linux Journal] managed hosting provider with a hard-won reputation for reliable hosting, reasonable pricing and expert support that goes beyond managed hosting. Under his leadership, Contegix has grown to become an award winning Internet infrastructure and hosting company. Porter maintains active involvement in all major efforts in the company from technology choices to continuously driving the values of Contegix, especially its passionate support.
Prior to founding Contegix, Porter served as Director of Professional Services for Demand Management Inc. (DMI) in Saint Louis. At DMI, Porter helped build a team of senior developers and consultants to implement the next-generation of enterprise supply chain management. Porter previously worked as a Senior Application Developer for World Wide Technology and TelcoBuy.com and IBM Global Services.
In 2007, Porter was distinguished as a “30 Under 30″ for the Saint Louis area. He serves as a board member for EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) Saint Louis where he coaches and mentors early-stage entrepreneurs. In addition, Porter currently sits on the Advisory Board for a select number of startups, including OffCampusMedia.
