Off Campus Media and Congress of the South 40 are pleased to announce the first-ever “Taste of Wash U” event. The event will be held on the South 40 campus, home to 3,000 Washington University in St. Louis undergraduate students and will feature 30+ restaurants, live music and student performances, group activities, yard games and more.
“We’re very excited about the opportunity to work with CS40 to develop this event. It’s a great way to expose students to the greater St. Louis community,” said Mark Sawyier, CEO of Off Campus Media.
Students will purchase $1 tickets that are redeemable at different restaurants for 2 and 3 ticket dishes. CS40 will be pre-purchasing tickets for South 40 Residents.
15% of ticket proceeds will be donated to a charity (TBD). Attending students will not only sample some of the best local restaurants but will also receive coupons, be able to participate in a raffle and vote on the “Favorite Wash U” restaurant.
“This event is excellent for encouraging students to break out from the Wash U bubble and go explore the neighborhoods in St. Louis. It is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait!” says Monatrice, CS40 Director of Development.
