St. Louis, Mo. (Oct. 14, 2009) – Ivy Hill Boutique and Off Campus Media hosted the Alpha Phi Shopping Night on Thursday, October 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. Ivy Hill generously donated 10% of the night’s proceeds to Alpha Phi’s philanthropic cause, women’s cardiac care.
Throughout the night, the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Phi browsed the boutique’s unique collection of clothing, jewelry, and home goods. Students received a 10% discount on all purchases made during the event
“The event was fantastic. It was so much fun to shop in such a cute and trendy boutique with all of my friends,” said Shiri Solomon, ’11, Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Phi. “ I would say the event was a definite success for our fundraiser and my personal wardrobe!”
In coordination with the Alpha Phi Shopping Night, Alpha Phi hosted the annual Red Dress Gala on Saturday, October 10. Ivy Hill Boutique contributed a $50 gift certificate, an Orla Kiely purse, and two tickets to St. Louis Fashion Week to the gala’s silent auction. The items raised $145 to benefit women’s cardiac care.

Ivy Hill Boutique began working with Off Campus Media, an integrated marketing company, in September 2009 to expand its presence among college students. The Alpha Phi Shopping Night was part of a pilot program designed by Off Campus Media to increase student awareness of Ivy Hill on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Future efforts will engage social media to improve student familiarity with Ivy Hill on the campuses of Washington University as well as St. Louis University.
